Workmanship in question
Got an Air force Condor in November 2004 and was amazed at the power of this rifle. Mine was cronying at about 1130 fps with 16gr JSB exacts and about 950fps with 28gr Eun Jins. Accuracy is superb. I've found that JSB predators are the most accurate pellet for my Condor, shooting one hole groups at 40 yards. Exacts do cloverleaf groups and Kodiaks and Eun Jins do nickle sized groups at 40 yards.
The Condor is now in transit back to Air Force though. Tophat started leaking and though I got it stopped, it never was the same. On a 3000psi fill, the first 15 shots would be about 600fps with 14.3gr CP's! Then the velocity started picking up... in any case, I also own a Talon that I had to send back and when I got it back from AF, it was shooting great so I have no doubt that within 2 weeks I'll be satisfied with my Condor. If you live near a scuba shop, a tank is the way to go. I do not... therefore, I pump manually and it takes a long time to fill that 490cc tank! Have to give it 10 stars for value too as I dont know of any other PCP gun with these features for this amount of $
