American Beauty Review

Overall Rating

America Beauty is actually in my top ten films of all time. Only nine other films ever have that distinction. It's really funny, it's drama, it's plot and it's acting at it's best. Spacey is on top form as always. In terms of plot he falls in love with his daughters best mate, meanwhile his daughter falls in love with her neighbour who films plastic bags in the wind. Doesn't sound amazing but that's part of the reason why it is.
