General Comments

The Master and Commander Soundtrack is a brilliant work of classical music and compliments the film wonderfully. You can feel the music rising to suggest tension and falling in times of calm. It's atmospheric and works well as a stand-alone piece of music, but having seen and loved the film it also makes me think of the heroism of the characters. I may even play it when I start reading the books soon!
