I was very impressed with the results from the Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro Music Creation & Editing Software. It does exactly what it says on the box and features are self-explanatory. It was so easy to use that I managed to install and create a song within a short amount of time. This piece of software has enabled me to widen my knowledge of guitar techniques as well as develop my song writing skills. I have been using this software for over six months now and am still discovering new ways of recording. This software also has the added bonus of an amp stimulator reaching sounds one can only imagine. Sound quality is first class.

is this software also a general recording and mixing suite that enables a wide variety of instrument and microphone inputs to be creatively worked? I am just trying to understand the main difference between Guitar Tracks and something like home studio.
