Good Points

An outstanding island with superb beach, accomodation and food

Bad Points

Beach bungalow side of the island had poor views and very limited access to a nice beach but are ideal for divers who will probabaly only need them for accomodation purposes. (you can also walk 350m and be on the nice side anyway. The "Golf Course" is overated and really a mini pitch and putt but nice to keep your hand in. Top tip - take your own golf balls as it is 10 dollars for 3 in the club house. By the way, the staff in the bar are very friendly and if you are all inclusive, the drinks are free.

General Comments

We have just returned from one week on Kuredu Island Resort from the 31 Jan - 07 Feb 05. We had a fantastic week in paradise. We stayed on all inclusive basis in a Beach Villa. The villa was ideally located about 300m away from the centre of the resort and was very quiet yet near enough to the dinning and bars. The sea was 20m in front of the villa and we had views to die for from our veranda. The food was excellent, buffet style, good quality and all you could eat. The staff could not be faulted and were all exceptionately friendly and helpful. I did the Resort Dive package (no qualifications but given the basics to dive 3 times) and if was well worth the money with excellent tution given by friendly staff. The snorkling was also terific with plentiful fish of all colours and sizes within easy reach of the shoreline so take the kit with you to do it (can also be hired in the dive centre for about 8 dollars/day. All in all, we unreserving recommend this island to anyone wanting a quiet peacefull and relaxing holiday.
