Uncommercialised area, uncrowded sandy beaches, good value for money, friendly locals, historical sites, delicious food, good for older people, great customer service

General Comments
Villa Hanorah was advertised as an uncommercialised area of Turkey and boy it did not disappoint. I went on holiday with my sister Chris I am in my 60's and she is in her 70's.
We are both interested in Culture and History and this promised both with the added benefit of several thermal spas.
Dikili was wonderful with sandy un-crowded beaches, friendly neighbours, and delicious great value food.
We travelled to see some historical ruins in Bergama a short drive away and were amazed at the Acropolis, which is situated on the top of a hill. Good shoes were necessary especially at our age but it was well worth it. There was hardly a sole about and it was one of the most wonderful sites I have ever seen.
We also went to see a Genoese Fortress in Candarli which was unlocked just for us can you believe it.
Other places we visited were Cleopatra Beauty Spa and Bademli, which I thoroughly recommend.
The greatest aspect of our trip was the friendliness of the locals and I now have a real understanding of the Turkish culture that in 3 previous trips to commercial resorts I never found.
