Good Points

Benetton paint

Bad Points

Patchy poor results with the metalic paint and I ended up using 3 times as much paint as Benetton stated on the pot!

General Comments

Benetton Chalkboard Paint: I used the base coat as suggested and then applied the nicciola paint on three walls and one wall with jeans sandy biege colour. They were both patchy and the jeans paint is so watery, un-managable and expensive to work with, but I soldiered on hoping for a good result.

The three walls done in the Nicciola paint were less than 9m2 allowing for windows and doors and the wall painted in the jeans paint is 8.6m2.

The walls are not evenly covered despite putting two pots of base coat on and using three pots of the Nicciola and three of the jeans one (thats some going on one wall)

According to the instructions, one 2.5l pot of the Niciolla should cover 9m2 using two coats and the sandy beige should cover 7-9m2 per litre. Therefore I have had to use, to date, three times as much Niciolla as recommended and six times as much sandy beige as recommended.

Commiserations on your unexpected added expense angelic, but I see the product is described as "chalkboard paint".

I understand that "chalkboard" is another name for "blackboard", like as in a classroom, so I don't think your paint was really suitable for walls.

Sorry, I couldn't find a link for actual Benetton paint but was so annoyed by the apalling quality of the paint if I can only stop one person using it will have been of use!
