I bought Gamo R77 Combat on Feb.01 2005 at the same time with the Gamo V3. R77 looks nice and handles very nice. Very nice with fully adjustable rear sight. Now comes the real test on the chrono. The first shot was 139.4fps, second was 139.6fps, third was 219.0, forth was 151.8 what a heck is going on here. The highest I got was 288.6 and drop as low as 93.1 fps. I thought it was the CO2 was not good, so I change with another fresh one and no different the highest was 295.5 and the lowest was 94.8 fps. Now I know it's the gun that is not good and I'm wondering if this one is defective. This test was done indoor at 23 degrees Celcius. 35 shots per CO2. Bottom line this gun is a waste of CO2 and Pellets. I will follow up with my supplier and see what he has to say about it. One last problem was when the velocity was dropping at around 90's the pellets start getting stuck between the barrel and the revolver. I almost couldn't take the revolver out because it was jammed with pellet half way.
