I always do a lot of research and shop around for the best deal and Egg, for the second year running has proved to be excellent in terms of value for money. Although I am a female, have made no claims for over seven years, have no endorsements and drive a group 2 insurance car (Ford KA), the difference was still staggering between the insurance companies I approached for a quote. Egg is also easy to reach - I've never had a problem in getting through to their call centre and documents have always been sent promptly. I recently added my partner to my insurance and expected my premium to go up a lot as he had just had a car accident, however, I need not have worried as the premium went up by an extremely minimal amount of £13. I wouldn't be surprised if I stuck with Egg for a third year running.
