Plays anything you throw at it
Super sharp TFT and excellent build quality
Best Portable Dvd Player
Doesn't play Divx
Laser a bit sensitive
Speakers are sharp but useless
The Hitachi PDV-302 is by far the best portable DVD player, it plays everything, and its multi region (requires code). So far it hasn't given me any problems, battery life is adequate, but you still can't see the whole of lord of the rings in one sitting. Audio side is excellent, it plays MP3s and standard CDs, plug in a headset and the quality is rather good. It has AV in to connect other other devices to (Video player, playstation 2) and make use of the screen, and it has AV out so you can connect it to a TV and use as a standard DVD player. It stands very well against your normal DVD players, however, the laser is a bit too sensitive, if their is a fingerprint on your DVD (which their shouldn't), It tends to have a hard time reading. Overall, for the price, it's a must have.
