General Comments

No7 Self-Tan Quick Dry Tinted Lotion: I've tried plenty of fake tans out there including the Awful St Tropez and the ever so obvious Fake Bake. Firstly I should state that I have very pale skin and that the above products were definently more suited for medium skin tones.

The Fake tan I purchased was the Light/Medium Tinted tanning lotion by Boots No7 and I must admit I was impressed. I initially tested an area on the top of my thigh to ensure that there wasn't any adverse reaction and that the colour was suitable which it was.
The lotion has an excellent color guide which made it easy to see where the lotion was and the scent was heavenly in comparison to the other self tan scents I've come across.
I exfoliated my skin a day prior to application and would recommend that after you've showered/bathed you apply some moisturiser (cream/oil) while you are still wet - this is a great way to avoid dry patches.
I applied the self tan all over my legs working upwards and washing my hands thoroughly afterwards and then worked it up the rest of my body (wash hands) leaving my face till last (Wash hands). After wandering around my house naked for 10 minutes I was able to get dressed and leave as the colour guide was a light natural tan colour not the usual dark bronze or irresitable mandarin shade. 6 hours later I had a lovely tan which looked natural and received quite a few compliments as to my looking much healthier.

Overall I would really recommend this product for very pale skin types like myself who wish to avoid the obvious dark brown of st tropez or fake bake.

I also noticed that boots also do this product in medium/dark which would definintly be more suitable for medium skin tones as I doubt the light/medium would have the pronounced effect that it had on me.
