General Comments
After a bad start with my Citroen C5 2.0 HDi SX Hatch Family Car in 2002, due entirely to the incompetence of the main dealer, the car has proved 100% reliable, and I get about 48 mpg. It's a bit dull to look at, but that has it's benefits - people are much less inclined to brand you as a flash so-and-so and let you out at busy junctions etc. It's not particulary fast or indeed outstanding in any way, but it was a hell of a lot cheaper than the equivalent Mondeo - you can sqeeze Citroen dealers hard - and when you take into account the actual price you pay the real deprecaition on these cars is one of the best you can get (just do the maths on the "What Car" guide prices and you can see for yourself) - these cars are a bargain. I've driven a lot of cars in this class and it's pretty much as good as any of them in normal driving in my experience - although I would class the Mondeo and Accord as better - but not 4 grands worth better, which is the extra that I would have had to pay for one of those. Overall i'm pretty happy with mine, but the seats could be more supportive and adjustable for the long legged.



The original large main dealer was quite awful and would put me off another Citroen, but I've since found a small family run local dealer near Stoke who are absolutely brilliant
