Nice looking car, handles and goes well when you reach the high rev band. Sat nav and traction control are very useful.
Bad Points
Wipers judder on intermittent and engine management system plays up, investigated twice under warranty, brakes feel a little soft under heavy braking.
General Comments
Having owned both a 1.4 turbo back in 1998 from new and now an 18 month Fiat Punto 1.8 16v HGT I would rather they left the turbo on and just modified the rest as you miss that rush of power from the turbo. Overall still a good car but I wish Fiat could get rid of the gremlins!

I agree I've owned my Punto HGT for 3 weeks and my wipers judder as well - the handbrake light keeps coming on, my brake fluid level is fine and my handbrake isn't tight - even a garage can't figure out the problem - I think they are very nice cars with a good burst of speed and I would recommend buying one but I agree with your comment - I wish Fiat would get rid of the gremlins - they do spoil the car!
