Good Points

Comfortable and easy to use. Excellent results almost every time.

Bad Points

With batteries on board it's a little heavy and the flash looks like it would snap off without very much effort at all!

General Comments

In the UK these are the C1400L and C1400XL cameras. I have had both and the XL is worth the extra money no question. The XL is much faster, allows multiple shots to be taken in sequence and takes 32mb smart media as standard. The L needs to be modified to take 32mb media. The optical zoom is a dream to use and makes picture taking easy. The three levels of picture quality are useful. Low quality is very good, medium is excellent and the high quality is more than I have ever found a use for. The cameras have awkward 43mm screw threads for the lens attachments - which in real terms means paying for a step up ring each time you buy a lens. Even the branded Olympus lenses use the step rings.

In summary, I was most surprised at how good these cameras are. I cannot imagine going back to an APS camera or 35mm camera again.
