Good Points

Charger unit, looks, colour screen.


Bad Points

software, batery life, programs, controls.


General Comments

The Motorola MPx220 could have been one of the best. A great looking phone in not a little heavy. The features look great but there the story end.
This is NOT a good for the battery life is totaly US. after three batteries I can only get a max of 17hrs life. The phone has to be charged every day. The windows interface is good if you can work it. The controls are many and slow. The email is very diffecult to use and eats memory.
ALL in ALL this is one to miss.

    As far as I could understand from 2 other forums, the battery problem arises on beta-units which are distributed for test purposes. There is supposed to be a fix with software version 0005 but it is not for sure whether it is available yet.

    I am looking at buying this phone as soon as these bugs are fixed.

    Had this phone for 3 months now. Takes some time to get used to it. Battery life is about 3 days with moderate to heavy use. ( with the latest ROM version.) The voice command software is excellent.
