Good Points

A great new addition to the cider market. Not like all the rest, definatley worth a try.

Bad Points

Not available all over the UK.

General Comments

When you are served a Magners Original cider it comes in a pint bottle. Nothing unusual in that, it's when you get a pint glass half filled with ice you start to think this is different. Once poured over the ice and tasted, I was converted! It is medium sweet, and a rich golden colour. It is hard to describe, but all the established ciders we have in the UK do not have a patch on this product. Magners Original cider comes from Ireland, where it has nearly 15% of the pint market. Lets face it the Irish know about their drink, so I recommend that if you see Magners Original cider, try it. You wont be disappointed.

Couldn’t agree more – first tried this when I was on business in Galway . . . blew my taste buds away. Found it again at the bar of London Welsh RFC during a coaching course and at The Six Bells, a pub in Kingston, Surrey. Come on Bulmers Ireland, get it to more outlets in England.

Just to let you know, I work for Magners (Bulmers in Ireland) producing the golden liquid and there are huge plans to have it rolled out across england within the next 12 to 18 months. There is a new factory under construction which will be producing approx, 60,000 bottles per hour. Should be enough to keep ye going lol. Enjoy........
