Good Points

The Alhambra is a great car for family use or for carrying a large load. The 115bhp Tdi PD gives wonderful performance and the 6-speed gearbox means the car cruises effortlessly on Motorways. The Alhambra has a high spec level and represents good value for money.

Bad Points

Reliability - I can't believe how many things have gone wrong with my car. Here's a list but I have probably forgotten something: Fan belt and pulley system at 3000 miles, 2 air conditioning condensors, one climate control panel, several inside door handles, an auxillary heater unit, track rod end at 48,000 miles, clutch hydrolics, air mass meter, turbo unit failed, and there's more.

General Comments

I have to say the Seat Alhambra 1.9 TDi SE People Carrier is great to drive, is comfortable and has a reputation for reliability. Mine seems to be the exception, but the dealer has been fantastic. There have been no quibbles, and problems have been mended quickly. Seat were even so embarrassed at my catalogue of faults that they gave me a CD player and fitted it to the car.
For an MPV it is economical, I get around 38mpg and it performs well. So much equipment comes as standard too compared to its sister vehicles.
The car feels solid and well built and hopefully will be a car that lasts many years.
