Good Points
Incredibly powerful, very accurate, very upgradable and very well made.
Bad Points
Does not come stock with gas spring.
General Comments
I have had a Webley Patriot for quite some time now and have found it to be very accurate and quite a satisfying shooting experience. Don't expect very good accuracy until 500 to 1000 rounds are put through it. Always check the tightness of all fasteners before shooting. I have also found that a thoroughly clean bore is essential for any degree of accuracy. As for the recoil, it is more that most air fifles, but come on it's not as bad as a rimfire. Are the people in these reviews adults or kids? Also, it seems that some people just cannot master the correct technique required to shoot springers (correct hold, follow though, trigger control, letting the gun float and holding it very lightly, letting it jump and vibrate). These peaple would happier with a PCP.
I like the freedom of being able to power the hunting weapon myself and the challenge aquiring the necessary skills reqired to shoot magnum springers.

Love my Patriot too. I could feel the action moving a little bit in the stock after about 50 shots, so I "bedded" the back end of the action with epoxy mixed with sawdust, also a little along the left and right side at the front (greasing metal good first). Now no movement at all. Still check the screws often though. Mine shoots excellently, 880 fps with .22 Benjamin domes, .75 groups rested at 80 feet open sights, super power, blows through my wood backstop. Excellent rifle in all respects.
