Cheap, light, awesome ringsignals, battery time,
No bluetooth or infrared, phonebook, ringsignal volume
The Siemens A65 is cheap, got it for 500 swedish krowns with about 100 minutes of calling time. The interface is typical siemens, awkward, so it takes a short while to learn. The coolest thing about this phone are the ringsignals. you can record any song to the phone with the mic. Best method for me is to use small earbuds with very low base, don't try to record techno with heavy base or death metal.
My main gripe is the phonebook. Instead of entering all contacts numbers under one heading you must create a new contact for each number aka one entry for someones home number and another entry for cell number. The lack of infrared or bluetooth annoys me, I've seen infrared on other low budget phones. Another gripe is the volume of ringtones. On highest setting when the someone calls it vibrates for about 4 seconds then ringtone cuts in at a very low volume, slowly building up, by the time you actually hear the phone in your pocket it's gone about 8-10 seconds. Keep in mind though the vibration is pretty strong.
The bottom line is this phone is cheap. Siemens needs to work on interface and ringtone volume then this phone would be a 10.
