Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing holiday in the sun.
Bad Points
El Gouna may be a little quiet for some peoples taste but we found it ideal and the peace and spacious layout a pleasant change.
Only poor point with the diving is that the sea around here can be a little choppy/rough when compared to Sharm, and the boat used by TGI could do with being a bit bigger and more stable.
General Comments
The layout of El Gouna, in the Sheraton Miramar Resort is excellent, and even when full it seems quiet with plenty of room on the beach and around the pools. Breakfast is superb and the evening main meals although buffet style are themed and very good value.
The TGI diving centre is located within the grounds and is well run with 15 litre steel tanks as standard, book a 10 dive package on the internet for best value.
Boat and bus service around the resort is very cheap with the weekly ticket.
Diving is very good with some good wrecks accesible if the weather permits.
