General Comments

I bought a Motorola V600 on eBay as somebody's brand new unwanted O2 upgrade. Within 1 month of purchase my phone gave up and died. eBay seller sent phone to the Motorola service centre and two weeks later had it back with assurances I would have no further problems. Two weeks later it ceased living again so I sent it to the repair centre myself outlining its many problems and details of purchase etc. They had no problems repairing it free of charge for me but unfortunately it lasted only 3 days after I had it back. I spoke to Motorola and they said I was welcome to have the phone repaired again but a refund or replacement phone could not be offered. Anyhow I chose to have this phone repaired again and at this time it is still living although it does come down with many illnesses.
The phone randomly switches itself off for no reason, the screen going blank then coming back on as just white for about 5 mins then restoring the screen. This causes you to lose whatever you were doing. On the occasions where my phone lost the will to live it simply went off and refused to come back on. The keypad would light up but that was the only activity you could get it to do. I know 4 people with the same phone and 3 of these have had severe enough problems with it to return the phone to Motorola/the shop where they bought it. Reception is very bad on this phone even in areas with a high signal-not very good for the hard of hearing like me! The front of the phone scratches very easily and the buttons on the side irritate the hell out of you as they keep changing your profile and making very loud beeping noises when your in important meetings etc. The battery life is terrible and the phone will not charge whilst in use so if you're planning a really long conversation you have to have breaks in between where your phone has died.
The camera on the phone has a high quality at first glance, however, if you try viewing the photos later on they have suddenly changed and become fuzzy (making you look like you have a melon head-funny but impractical).
The games on this phone are good but jam in the middle of a game and switch off so you have to keep accessing them (luckily you can resume the game from where you left it).
All in all I have been very, very disappointed with this phone as I did not expect so many problems from a phone which has been advertised as being of very high quality.
Unless you want all the hassle of repeatedly sending this phone for repairs, avoid it like the plague!!
