General Comments
I own the Remington 870 express Magnum Youth Model gun in 20gauge. I've never once been disapointed by it. It's lightweight. I used to be skinny and I never had trouble hauling it trough the woods for hours on end. It's available in 3 in magnum so it provides great knockdown power for turkeys. I've shot skeet and trap with it and it swings great as well. Mine shoots 6's better than 4's or 5's for some reason but 6's and anything smaller than that leaves a beautiful pattern!
If you're gonna buy a shotgun for a youngster. Buy the 870! You'll never regret it.
