Simple, super comfortable, brilliant board feel, hard wearing, look snazzy but not jazzy - the list goes on.
Not quite as snazzy as the Emerica MJ1 they're based on, not a lot of ankle or heel support.
All in all, the Tilt is a faithful replica of the original and much loved Emerica MJ1, perhaps the best skateshoe of all time. It also shares many production techniques with the eS accel, so you know with a heritage like that it's going to be good!
The Tilt is a very simple low key shoe, but with a lot of retro styling and is one of the best looking shoes on the market. This simplicity is found throughout the shoe: a no-nonsense grippy sole, a hard wearing toe reinforced with rubber which continues to wear after the suede is torn, brilliant board feel and all round an extremely comfortable shoe which seems to get better the more it is worn.
On the down side, this simplicity comes at the cost of heel and ankle support, and doesn't have any of the tech features some shoes have like Velcro straps, rubber toecaps, gel/air cushioning etc.
In conclusion, if you're after a simple effective and cheap skate shoe the Tilt could very well be one for you, it does everything well and nothing badly. Highly recommended.
