General Comments

Great in almost every respect (music, AV, MP3 etc.) BUT not reliable. A few times each DVD it freezes momentarily, as if it were changing layer. However, rewind and replay the section and the glitch is gone - except when it is actually a layer change of course. Could be because mine is multi-region. It's going back to the shop anyway. A friend also had a similar problem and all his replacement units were afflicted, so I'll change for a different model.

    Hi All I completely agree, I've changed out my unit three times and I have the same intermittent data loss problem It's a shame Yamaha produce such awesome equipment and this unit is a plain let down Ta Hilt

    Guys before you change contact Yamaha. There is a firmware upgrade available for this unit FOC and it appears to have resolved the issue on my player.
