Excellent product, actually leaves hair feeling silky soft, colour does not fade and looks oh so natural!
Bad Points
If left on too long (mixed with peroxide) hair can become weak as with any permanent colour, be sure not to let colour overlap as breakage may occur.
General Comments
Wella Koleston Perfect Hair Colour: My hair is naturally blonde, over the years it went darker and I was unhappy with the colour. I had highlights for a few months but decided to go for a full head of special light ash blonde. I was so pleased with it, the hairdresser told me the colour takes extremely well to my hair and only needs to be left on for 20 mins. They mixed it with 12% peroxide, which is high but my hair was still in good condition.
After a year I was shelling out £35 every 3 weeks to have my roots done which seemed a little over the top, so my Mum said she would start doing my roots for me as she has had experience in this before. So I found out where to get the Wella Koleston Perfect from and a bottle of peroxide and it now only costs me £8 for the colour which lasts me about 2 months!! I have experienced slight breakage in the roots of my hair in the past due to overlapping of the colour, so be sure to be extremely careful if doing yourself and use a good shampoo/conditioner. I would not change this hair colour, the only downside is if I ever want to get rid of this colour my roots will look awful!!! But I guess I will cross that bridge when I come to it!
