Catchy lines.
Vocals and instrumentation sounds monotone throughout the album. Much like The Strokes.
Franz Ferdinand, I think are overrated. I borrowed the CD from my friend and I thought it was going to be a surprise to my ears but I actually didn't understand what the critics were talking about. "It's just like any other band out there" I said to myself. I think they are too busy strumming eighth-notes throughout the album to bring this to their "highly-acclaimed" sound which I was expecting.
So, Franz Ferdinand is nothing new.
