Great venue, great support.
Sound failures during Cypress Hill.
Went to the Eminem - Anger Mangement tour in 2002 at the Milton Keynes Bowl, the night after I'd seen the Libertines in Manchester! It was a long night, a long drive down, but it didn't dissapoint! The weather was amazing, the venue was not what I expected (it's basically a hole in the ground!) but it works. The support came from the likes of Cypress Hill, Xzibit, D12, Obie Trice and 50 Cent. It was such an entertaining gig, all the artists managed to get the crowd going, and the support did a great job of preparing us for the main act. Although it did actually have a bit of a festival feel to it, with such a great bill. Eminem performed with D12, before appearing on stage for his own set. A mixture of all the albums was played, including the classics Stan, Sing for the Moment, The Real Slim Shady, and Lose Yourself. He was also joined on stage by Obie Trice and 50 Cent to perform songs from the recently released 8 Mile soundtrack which sounded great. Overall a great day, great gig and great performances from the whole line-up.
