Great Shops
Recently refurbished
Excellent Facilities.
Pretty central to most places in the north.
Has frequent bus and Train services, and excellent motorway links.
Bad Points
Flights / Holidays seem to be more expensive here than in Gatwick - possibly something to do with higher landing taxes???
Sometimes it is that big, you get lost!
New parking is very confusing in Arrivals for terminal 1.
General Comments
I have flown from Manchester International Airport for most of my life. I have flown from terminal 1 and 2. I prefer terminal 1 as this has the best variety of shops and facilities, with a hugh food court and a bar overlooking the runway. Food prices can be a bit expensive, but I suppose you expect that anyway! There are plenty of book, electrical and fashion shops to keep you amused during delays. I think most places have a 24 hour opening time too. It is quite central to many cities in the north. It also has frequent bus and Train services, and excellent motorway links.
