Looks good Sturdy construction
Too heavy Battery life poor Poor signal retention
What's the point in having good quality digital radio if a good signal is not consistant as is the case with the Phillips DA1000. Portable radios are too low powered and give useless results in most built-up areas and most indoor-areas get a stationary one. This particular one looks better than most but has the same problems so why bother.
