General Comments

By Design: What a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The designer listened to what I designs liked and started sketching whilst we spoke. She came up with about 6 designs in 10 minutes! She had really listened to me but suggested slight changes to suit my body shape and height. We spent hours discussing fabrics and colours. I had full confidence in her and needed the dress in August. I originally had the design done in February and she started making it at the end of June. I had 3 try ons and one final fitting the week of the wedding. The completed dress was delivered by hand with matching bag 2 days before the wedding and was fantastic. I can really recommend By Design - you are made to feel valued, she isn't overbearing and will listen to what you what and guide you if she feels you are not making the best of your figure. The quality of the finished gown was top class and unique. The price - a fraction of the cost of a shop bought gown even though I picked lace which cost £120 per metre!
If you are wanting a wedding dress and can get to Princes Avenue, Hull, please call in at By Design you will be suprised at how little an original bespoke gown can cost!
