Good Points

Cheap insurance (group 2), easy to park, always started first time.


Bad Points

My car rusted fairly quickly, needed a new exhaust system, and the power steering unit also needed renewed. Needless to say I no longer own it!
Not much leg room in the rear, enough for 2 small children.
Very small boot space, spare wheel under the car - not good for changing a tyre on a wet night.


General Comments

I had a 1998 Ford Ka, which I bought when it was a year old. As a single female at the time, I didn't bother about the boot space, which is dire.
Within 6 months, rust had begun to show on the tailgate.
After two years of ownership, (it had done approx 28,000 miles) the power steering unit had begun to leak, and I also had to replace the exhaust.
Not the best of cars (it is a Ford I suppose!), I had traded a VW Polo Coupe 1.3 for it, and regretted it.
I would recommend this car for city use and Tesco shopping runs only.....(not the weekly shop though :) )
