Good Points

Yes when it's working it is a really good cleaner.


Bad Points

Plastic not very robust. Loss of suction when half full.


General Comments

The plastic on the Dyson DC04 De Stijl is set to self-destruct after a few months use after the one year guarantee has expired. Also whats this rubbish about no loss of suction? If the cylinder gets only more than half full the suction goes down hardly any sausage at all! And now because most of the plastic hinge bits have broken the whole cylinder falls apart once removed from the main machine which makes it a nightmare to empty. Would I buy another one? No.

    We've had a Dyson De Stijl vacuum cleaner since about 1997/8 and nothing has ever broken on it.
