General Comments

I have just returned Bosch SHU53 to the retailer; that probably says all you need to know about this item. I bought this Bosch dishwasher on the recommendation of a friend, with friends like him, who needs enemies? What a cock-up from start to finish - I have spent a grotesque amount of money on repairs. The electronics have malfunctioned twice and the valve has also required repairs. And guess what? The electronic board is now broken again but Bosch will not extend the warranty despite the fact this is blatantly a dodgy part. On top of all these calamities it is very noisy and isn't even fit for the purpose it was built for, we have to scrub and rinse everything before loading because it doesn't clean well either. I'd rather burn my next wage-slip than deal with these jokers again.
