Cheap insurance & cheap to run.
Rear arches tend to fall off!
I have a Vauxhall Nova 1.4 SR, Now...1.4 bottom end, 1.2 cylinder head & official twin 40 nova sport carbs! It has been rolling roaded without the 40's with a 32/34dtml weber at 90bhp, with the 40's its at 125bhp at 6500rpm.
I have owned an R5GTT & That was quicker but the Vauxhall is much more stable & better built & is not to far off the pace of an R5, as for XR2's & such, they are easy to beat, Power to weight my friends! But come on Nova lads be honest, You haven't beaten RS turbos & R5's without mods, & I dont mean a max power sticker! XR2's & XR3's are not that great so be honest...Novas will murder these!
I also have electric windows & central locking, Tinted windows, New arches all round-Not filled! Welded! Black Corsa SXI polished rims, Gsi shocks, Astra mk3 Gsi brakes. I also have very limited edition Angel eyes. Resprayed Flame red, Flush tailgate, Modified front bumper with NOVA cut out which light up at night.
I have completely undersealed the car, Everything works. only 85k on the clock and a full vauxhall service history.
