General Comments

This write up is on my experience with both the RWS 34 and Xisico B-21. My ratings are for the B-21
I reside in California USA.
About a year ago, a decided to own a springer like the one I had 40 years ago as a kid.
After much internet reading, I took a liking for the RWS 48.
However after some thinking, I talked myself into the RWS 34 in .22.
I received the gun about 4 months ago.
Out of the box, it was clear this was a quality peace.
In my eyes, beauty in its simplest form.
I've shot over 400 RWS Hobbys since.
I'm totally pleased.
Installed is a BSA 3-9X .22LR scope - about $18 @ Walmart.
Scope fits perfect on the rails and no problems to date.
At 20 yards, grouping them Hobys in a quarter's shadow.
Now I have the air gun bug in me.
So after some further internet reading I ordered from Bestairgun.com the Xisico B21 (in .22 also) with intent of quenching my RWS 48 desire at a 1/3 of the cost ($125 free shipping).
Got the gun last week. Out of the box I noticed a an indenture on the stock the size of a pea a few inches forward of the trigger guard. Removed the stock and closer examination revealed the area to be cracked through. I will need some grinding, filling with epoxy, sanding, and staining to fix. NOW, I am bit disappointed.
While the stock was of, further inspection revealed a dirty rifle both metal and inner area of stock NOW, I am concerned.
I cleaned by wiping and blowing compressed air then laying a light lubricant spray in the trigger parts. Reassembled and took it out to test.
The gun packs a slight stronger punch than the RWS 34 and interestingly with less recoil and a bit quieter. Pellets penetrated deeper into the telephone book.
As I shot I few more rounds it appeared to me that the barrel was NOT in line with the rest of the gun.
Putting a straight edge along the side of the large tubing (the compression section) clearly showed the barrel to be pointing LEFT and DOWN.
NOW, I AM DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET.
At this point I was ready to ship it back for a refund but I decided to keep it .
I then installed a B-Square 17101 mount with adjustable rings (I had ordered with the RWS 34) and a $30 Tasco 3-9x scope.
I'm now also grouping them Hobbys inside the quarter's shadow at 20 yards. At least the barrel is straight.
It is my guess that if you order the B-21 online, the order is routed directly to Xisico where it is mailed from. So you are getting a gun that could have been made on a Monday. Another words, a gun not inspected before delivery to you.
Therefore, if you cannot be assured of getting a GOOD piece (note I didn't say perfect because I don't think it is possible) spend the extra cash if you can afford to and get the real thing.
PS - If any one knows if the barrel can be re-aligned on the B-21 and who can do it, please let me know.

I feel your pain. I bought my B21 from Best Airgun early May. I had the same problems as you did. GUn was dirty and had to be thoroughly cleaned. Stock had minor ding, but was on side of stock and is hardly noticable. Worst of all, my front sight was also not align with the rest of the gun and was offset to the left but not down. In order for me to shoot it I have to prove rear sight to extreme left which puts it dead on shooting the JSB Predators. I've done some extensive research about adjusting the front sight and have been told not to do it because these newer model B21s (third/fourth generation) are pressed onto the barrel very tightly. On the previous models (first & secong generation) the barrel was on a sleeve and it was suggested that in order to remove fornt sight, you had to heat it with a 200 degree heat gun to loosen the glue. I wil try and get you the website where I found this info about the frotn sight removal. I do agree that while the gun is powerful and quite capabale of great accuracy, as most B21 owners sate in their reviews of this airgun, the company and/or manufacturer needs to set some better quality control standards in place because it looks like our guns were of the same batch sold with the off-set frotn sight.
