Cut the chase- just plain good portable phones, period. I suggest whatever your music taste, test these w/ Dione Farris' Blackbird. Here the highs and the lows just sound perfect. The music and sounds are just is in your head. Not sure how else best to describe the experience.
It takes first couple of days to play with sleeves and find the best fitting position to get the best sound. Insert them into the ear canal, but use common sense to avoid hurting yourself.
Not much more to say about the Shure E2c headphones. Is it worth the price? $70 USD - yes! $100 only if you have cash to throw away!!!
