Good Points

large screen, easy to use, bright menus, good gprs features, video camera.


Bad Points

RUBBISH ringtones, poor software.


General Comments

The MYX-7 is my first Sagem mobile and I was quite happy with it until I discovered that no matter where you download your ringtones from, they translate into low definition, quiet abominations. I can never hear the thing ringing in my pocket and the vibration is so pathetic I wonder why they bothered including it. Also, the thing has a rather annoying habit of crashing, either when texting, talking or just when it is in screen saver mode. These frozen moments can last for 30 seconds or 10 minutes and taking the battery out and restarting the thing does no good - it just stays frozen until it feels like coming back to life! VERY ANNOYING. It does have some good features though - the videocamera is impressive, and the screen is MASSIVE. The menus are easy to navigate (when they work) and the battery life can only be described as incredible (it lasted for 3 days on one battery bar). Stylish design (although a little on the chunky size) and satisfying button presses complete the package.
