Good Points

Great selection of weapons, dual wielding, good feel to the gameplay, the ton of other improvements on the original

Bad Points

The campaign may be seen as too short, no fuel rod cannon in multiplater

General Comments

Halo 2 has got to be one of the best games that I have ever played! The campaign mode is good (while it lasts!) and has a lot of replay value. The ability to dual wield weapons is an excellent addition to the game that really adds to the experience. The covenant energy sword has been included as a useable weapon this time along with the fuel rod cannon (my personal favourite weapon which is, for those who don't know a covenant rocket launcher that fires radioactive and explosive fuel rods) and a host of other weaponary. Most of the vehicles are boardable including the wraith (the covenant tank) and banshees while in mid flight.
The truly brilliant aspect is the online xbox live multiplayer mode. Depending on the character you choose for your profile you appear either as a spartan soldier or a covenant elite. You can play many different gametypes such as team skirmish (this mainly plays Capture the Flag and Assault) where 6 or 8 people are divided into even teams, head to head, or big team battle involving 14-16 people in even teams playing deathmatch (slayer) type games on large levels.
As in the summary of bad points i am pretty annoyed that the fuel rod cannon was not included in multiplayer, also the banshee bomb has been disabled in the interests of fairness.
Overall this is a top class game with a brilliant storyline that will keep you addicted for a long time, especially if you have xbox live.
