General Comments

I stayed 2 nights in the Cathedral Hill Hotel, in may 2004. We only spent the night, and did not use a lot of the hotels facilities. The rooms were clean and spacey, and had all the necessary luxury. The beds were comfortable and the service was ok. The check-in went swift and we had no problems. The downside is the neighboorhoud. Across the street is a good coffee shop, but there were a lot of homeless people hanging out there (but then again they are everywhere in San Fransisco). The bus stops right in front of the hotel, so that is an advantage. Although it is located at a busy street, there is not a lot of noise during the nights, but this won't disturbe your sleep.
In conclusion if you want a cheap way to spend some days in SF, this hotel gives you a good quality for your money.
