Flexible - lots of features. Not only does it take reasonable still shots, and fairly reasonable movies, it also plays MP3 files and can also be used as a voice recorder.
Very, very cheap.
Quite long shutter lag.
Lens is crummy and easy to cover with one's fingers when shooting.
Difficulty getting movies onto PC.
Well I only paid £29.99 for my Aiptek DV3300 at Toys-R-Us so whatever it does is going to be very good value for money. But it really is quite a good little camera and is fun to use.
Downsides? Well don't expect miracles from the lens which is teeny. And I've had considerable trouble getting movies onto my PC - they download but will not play unless I use QuickTime - something to do with a codec.
