General Comments

Ninty's animal-tastic new creation, Animal Crossing, is basically the Japanese N64 game "Animal Forest." Yes, you heard it here first (unless you know your stuff :D)

The game is basically completely open-ended. You are given a tiny house with hardly any furniture in a villiage full of sickly sweet animals. Do whatever you want! Beat the moosh outta people with a spade or become a furniture tycoon? It's all up to you!

Well I had been looking forward to this game for as long as I can remember but I was suprisingly dissappointed! I was completely enthralled by the game as I booted it up and listened to the hypnotic high-pitched animal voices and the "Oh-So-Cute" surroundings. Well, I felt that way for about a week...

After a week I started to get pretty bored. I was tired of doing the same old routine and this was mainly because the game is in real time. It takes so long for anything to happen and unless you keep jumping around in time by changing the NGC's internal clock and even that gets boring once you have done all of the festivals.

My advice.... try before you buy! If you are gripped in a while of playing it, buy it. If not, steer well clear!
