General Comments

The Beretta 92 FS is a great piece, looks brilliant and with a silencer really looks brilliant!! and it really hurts when a ricochet hits u from 5 yards! The muzzle velocity is more along the lines of 420 fps but this does depend on the pellet weight.

Ok, I find it hard to believe some one can hit a target with this thing at 50 meters /yards - maybe 50 feet! This is because I got 1 and tried it at a gun clubs plinking range (which has yardage marked out) with no success. I got a webly Xocet .22 air rifle which is around 10 / 11 ft/lb's (around 800 - 950 fps with the right pellet), without a scope it is almost impossible to hit a small target at 50 yards. with scope it is fairly difficult because of the arc and windage still to account for, but it can make a frying pan spin a fair bit, if i manage to hit it at 50m.

Want to shoot a long distance accurately? Get a target pistol.
If you want to annihilate some empty beers cans, get the beretta!

Keep in mind that ideal distance to shoot air pistols is 7-10m

I tried shooting with my Beretta at 25 yards once, it wasn't hard to hit the target (or at least the stand) and It was only a couple of weeks after I got the gun, so my skills weren't that good. Now I think I'd do a lot better. Anyways I think too, that it would be pretty hard to shoot with it at 50 yards, but not impossible!

If you think about it, a rifle has a 20 odd inch barrel and a beretta has 5.5" obviously the rifle will out gun the beretta. There is no way that this beretta will shoot accurate at 50 yards. He must of aimed very high above the target to get there, otherwise not a chance. I've got a beretta xxtreme, took the scope off, put it on my S-16 Logun, zeroed it in for 40 yards, and still the 12ft/lb rifle is 15cm out. It was on bipods as well. No way a beretta would touch 50 yards unless you shoot 10m above the target.

I never said you can shoot accurate with a Beretta at 50 yards. Even with real handguns it’s hard to be accurate at 50yards. (depends what you consider accurate)

And yes, you would have to raise the barrel, but only because the sights are not adjustable for elevation, but it doesn’t mean anything.

By the way Beretta has only 4.5in barrel

I have shot at 50 yards with it, and although not accurate you can still hit the target, if you read the booklet it says that the gun is capable of firing a pellet in excess of 400 yrds! be carefull

    Sgt gunman,
In the manual it does say that the gun is capable of propelling a pellet over 400 yards, but I really doubt it.

On a Daisy website, they indicate the max. shooting distance for their guns, and most of pistols that shoot at around 400fps (same as Beretta) have the max shooting distance of 225-250 yards. Which is believable.
So why would Beretta shoot farther? Same velocity in same caliber guns will give you the same shooting distance.

Don’t get me wrong; I love my Beretta, but the 400yards just doesn't seem right.
