Was able to dub from harddrive, dvd and tape to each other.
Bad Points
DVD would not accept cartages and could not edit from the hard drive (this is really unacceptable)I usually do all my editing from my hard drive. Also VHS recorder had different output form DVD, so had to change channels on my TV to watch tape and DVD.
General Comments
The JVC DR-MX1S is a good ideal, but has too many bad faults to purchase at that price, also the edit features on the DVD ram was really to hard to follow, compared to how easily they are on the Panasonic recorders, but Pansonic has not come out with this type of recorder at this time that I can find. JVC needs to go back and redesign this item.
