General Comments
I had a set of these Avon ZV1 Tyres on my XR2 when I first got it and was impressed straight away by the level of grip and had to work really hard round any corners to get any complaints from them.
I then put them on another XR2 I had and ran them round castle combe on quite a few sets of 5 laps and drove the car as hard as I could. I was very impressed and had lots of fun. I span once (which was my fault but the tyres gained grip again very quickly and helped me to a safe stop. The second time I lost it (at about seventy) the back tried to overtake the front again but a swift flick of the wheel and a stamp on the throttle and all was fine.
I still have these tyres and they are still wearing very well!
Would recommend them to anyone!
Haven't had any trouble in the wet yet and XR2s are a knightmare in the wet!
