Good Points

Ease of use, quality of video both in daylight and mixed light as well as low light is excellent, audio quality execellent.


Bad Points

Battery life not so good.


General Comments

I purchased the MVX 250i camcorder to replace the Canon MV600i which I found to have problems with low light and high contrast subjects IE: Very grainy video.

Since using the Canon MVX 250i I have found the auto exposure copes extremely well in all conditions for a camcorder in its price range, using the manual settings improves things immensely with no evidence of colour bleed or grain even without a video light.

The auto focus adjusts quickly to lock onto subjects even when in low light, and when someone walks past into your line of shot the auto systems re-adjust quickly and accurately.
