Fast paced break neck tempo, combined with smooth melodic softness. A fresh new sound. Different genres combined to create a uniqe sound. Very Addictive!!
Bad Points
Sometimes system tend to get carried away with wierd sounds, but its not very annoying.
General Comments
"Much Needed Breath Of Freah Air". System of a Downs self titled debut brings a new sound to a genre which is becoming consumed by "carbon copy" bands who have not got a different sound. But its not just about how different System's sound is, its the fact that they do it just so well. Every sound is very different from the last yet Serj Tankians Vocals, Daron Malakians amazing sound, John Dolmayan Drumming and Shovo Odadjians Bass, all comes together to create a sound that can be easily picked out in a crowd as being SOAD.
From the bigining, Suite Pee to the end P.L.U.C.K I didnt feel the urge to turn to a better song or a skip a song i didnt like, because the album is of the best quality from start to finish.
I recommend that you buy this album if you are looking for something fresh.
