Bad Points

Poor follow-up to emails, Terrible in-house communication. They make things very difficult for you to actually work things to your own advantage.


General Comments

I got a Cahoot Flexible Loan 2 years ago as they offered a good rate of interest and I thought they would be easy to deal with as it was all on-line. The initial rate kept going up, but I was paying it off quite quickly so did not change the account. This year I needed to get some extra funds so asked for money to be transferred to my account, I realised the next day that I had to get some more so applied again. I also telephoned them to speak to them about a new payment figure.I then proceeded to write checks for workmen etc. I checked the account after 4 days-no money. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again 2 days later-still no money.
I emailed them and got no reply so I rang them again, the person I spoke to denied that I had ever spoken to anyone or asked for this cash. I am currently trying to close the account but they have not sent me a settlement figure despite requesting it 2 weeks ago. Very poor.
