General Comments
The NEC e616 phone needs some refining and could do with more technical info to help the advanced phone users. The battery doesn't last, I have to charge mine every night.
The Texting is frustrating in that when it fails, you have to write the whole text again and you can't send the text to more than one contact. I have tried saving the text and sending it to other contacts but it wipes the message after sending to the first contact. I have also found that the "sent messages" folder gets garbled and you have to be very careful resending texts as you could confuse your friends with very strange messages. Believe me, I know!
There also doesn't seem to be phone browser software, like there is with the Nokia's, which would make this phone bearable. Having said that there are programs you can download from www.three.co.uk and you do get software and data cable with the phone so that you can synchronise with MS Outlook and add pictures, MP3's etc. (Not Games)
I'm not sure I would get another NEC phone. Stick with what you know is going to be good quality, which comes with experience.
