Comfortable front seats
Good fuel consumption
Rattles and knocks I still cannot find, from new (year 2000).
High brake and tyre wear.
Under the skin engineering a concern - fuel pipe split and almost got my car burning.
Cam belt failure at 75000 km, new engine fitted, however proper coolant not used by agent, radiator bulged and burst two years later.
Lack of spares - 5 days down time to sort out a small idle problem.
Now rusting.
Rear wiper keeps coming loose.
Rear opening window burst in my hand when I opened it after a shopping trip....expensive!
Back up service costly and slapdash.
Squeaky doors and suspension now starting up.
The Renault Scenic 2.0 Privilige People Carrier is a great practical car when new and under warranty, but costly and generally problematic threafter - please see my bad points above.
When ever we need to travel a dirt road , I cringe as I know something will go wrong...from exhaust to brakes to fuel line. A car meant for city commuting only. (European conditions versus African I guess)
