Bad Signal, bad battery life.

General Comments

My 3410 was dieing so called vodafone for an upgrade, it was the Motorola V980 release day and it was offered foc. First morning of use it averaged 2-3 bars signal strength (was full signal on 3410), disconnected 2 calls mid conversation then started averaging 0-2 bars signal, unable to call out even on 2 bars.

Replacement phone had even worse signal, first call was dropped midchat unable to dial again after that, during 10mins of attempts battery went from full to 1 bar. Being returned, no more V980s here.

Putting 5 stars for screen and features but only because I didn't have a chance to form an opinion (if you can't make calls with it, it sort of defeats the purpose of all the gadgets)

Exactly! it doesn't matter if you've got a brand new phone, video messaging sms photos etc.

If you can't dial out properly when you need to then what's the point?

But I suppose it's not actually the phone that's the problem it's the call provider (eg. vodaphone) and the area you are in.
